Little Feet = lots of fun
For the second Saturday in a row, Lucy this weekend played herself silly in a super cool indoor play gym called Little Feet Fitness and Fun at the Whitby/Oshawa border.![]()
We went for the first time last weekend with the Babyville Mamas, and Lucy had a blast. She’s obsessed with balls lately, and spent most of each visit carrying, throwing, chasing and kicking them while squealing.
The centre has padded, shock absorbing carpet, and bright, fun colours everywhere. But I like that it isn’t too big and overwhelming for parents or kids. You can pretty much see every corner no matter where you’re sitting. One bank of walls is lined with couches and magazines, too, plus an eating area with plenty of room for
snack and visits and chats. It was easy for the Mamas to get caught up while the babies went nutty.
Great price, too: just $8/child and unlimited adults. Oh, and don’t forget socks. If you do, you can buy them there.
Other toys include: an inflatable bouncy animal house, stick-to-walls shapes, mini balance beam set, tubes with stuff in ‘em (sounds silly, but when the stuff is sparkles and sequins
and dice, it’s like baby crack pipes), a plethora of exercausers and jumpers for younger/non-crawling wee ones, hula hoops, padded
obstacle equipment and those adorable mini cars kids have to push with their feet.
Check out the company’s website for details on hours, guest passes, birthday parties and more. Lucy gave it her personal seal of approval both days with a three hour
(read: THREE! 3!) nap.
As you can see, fun was had by kids of all ages. Check out Lucy, below, obliviously, innocently playing ball when her Daddy just..well, you can see:

Ohhh .. that looks like fun.
Maybe Lucy can take her Auntie there for her birthday in a couple weeks.
It must be a dad thing. Niall always uses Eirinn as a moving target, too. Eirinn loves it. She thinks it’s the most hilarious thing ever to be pinged with a ball.
