What no pregnant woman wants to hear: Snippets, lately

Standing at the front door, leaving to go get milk, wearing cute platform sandals.

“Wow, you’re hhhhh…uge and so tall in those!”

“Gee, thanks. I was hoping you were going to say ‘hot.’”

“Oh, I mean hot, too. Yeah, hot.”

“Nice try, jackass.”

___

“Are you controlling your weight this time?”

___

“You’re really filling out now, aren’tcha?”

___

Eating lunch yesterday, giggling at Lucy.

“Gawd, it’s ridiculous when I’m this pregnant and laugh really hard. My boobs and belly bounce up and down in tandem.”

“You’re like Santa!”

___

“You need the exercise.”

___

“You have how much longer to go?!”

___

Receiving a hug from behind, with an affectionate squeeze of my hips.

“Nice baby bumpers you’re growin’ here!”

I’m surprised Eric doesn’t get smacked more often.

At least you don’t breakdown into tears anytime someone gives you a sideways glance. I went between that and nearly ripping someone’s head off in a heartbeat. Don’tcha just love hormones!

I feel for you Carly, I’m due early October and I’ve been asked twice if I am having twins (somewhat jokingly) after pulling myself out of the week-long depression those comments brought on, I had a lovely “gentleman” ask me: “You’re not having triplets are you? haha” So I looked him in the eye and said “Yes I am!” well the shock on his face made it worth it…

How to get rid of the #2 baby leftovers. Personal Trainer. I had one who came to my house so I didn’t have to worry about who’s watching the kids, I did it after they went to bed.

1 hour twice a week, did wonders. I’m now working on getting rid of the rest of baby #1
