Last night at 10:15, my high-priced web team (my sister is rolling her eyes) hit publish, or something, and Durham Region Daycare officially went live.
I’m excited and terrified and everything in between.
Many of you, whether you know it or not, have been incredibly supportive and inspiring: Help with a logo or listening to your struggles and successes via a daycare-related post, or the occasional email to ask whether we’re all still alive.
So, thank you. Honestly and sincerely. None of any of this would be, without you.
I hope you have a few minutes to poke around the new site today (there’s even a blog! with a post! about grunts of displeasure!), and help spread the word to providers and parents alike. For the rest of August, we will be adding listings as they come in, and September will fully launch with the search function for parents.
Durham Region Daycare was created for you, so please let me know what you think.

Well done Carly! Wish I had something like that four years ago when I knew nothing about babysitters, let alone daycare providers. It’s a daunting task as a parent … where do I look?
