Diaper coupons

I am drowning in coupons for Huggies diapers and wipes after somehow getting on their mailing list.

Anyone use this brand? Want the coupons?

We’ve been diehard Costco diaper users since Lucy was born, and find them near identical to Huggies. Still hating Pampers with their smell (more chemicals? really?), and Wal-Mart’s have offered nothing but leaks on Alice (and we have to laugh that the character on them is Garfield and Odie. Now who is THAT marketing towards? Certainly not the kids IN the diapers!).

Currently we’re in love with Teddy’s Choice, the store brand from Zehrs/SuperCentre/Loblaw’s. They are super cheap, and work super well.

But nothing, I repeat NOTHING is better than Costco unscented wipes. Nothing is a thicker or absorbant or better priced (and trust me, we’ve tried every brand. Twice.).

Anyways. Want coupons?

I agree with 100% with the Costco wipes..amazing! (and they clean up anything…markers, spills on shirts etc.).
I also use Teddy’s Choice brand and love these.

Can you believe as a family of 6 we don’t have a Costco membership? Might have to break down and get one… there just isn’t one close enough to the boonies for me I guess. I have to admit as well that I do love pampers diapers (love that smell). If we ever get to Costco I will try their brand… they sound excellent!

    Laura, we are diaper/wipe sisters!

Danielle, let me know if you want to try the Costco diapers, and I’ll have Eric grab you a box next time he’s there. We go every two months or so.

Well…I don’t want to seem like the cheap one here…but I’ll take any coupons you can hand over! In this house we could seriously use some coupons ESPECIALLY since huggies tracks A’s age and has decided that at 26 months he needs pull-ups now instead of diapers therefore we only ever get pull up coupons and the odd wipe coupon.

I never new about the Costco diaper fiasco? Maybe because we don’t have a Costco membership (is it expensive? and I heard you have to be like some special business owner to get one)…anyways…we’ve always bought Ayven pampers cruisers or huggies natural fit, which are way more expensive than the other brands (I can’t believe I mostly spend $40 for a box of like 124 diapers, what a jip!)…

Well enough with my ranting, anyways.

Thanks for the tip on the wipes. I have always wanted to try them but was worried I would be stuck with loads of crappy wipes.

We are Costco diaper and wipe promoters all the way.

Regular Huggies irritate Brady’s back (the elasticy part) and Pampers ALWAYS leaked (I’ve heard this a lot with boys).

The Huggies Natural Fit are nice, but, very expensive. There are what my MIL has at her house for when Brady goes to visit. She is “dismayed” that I buy the diapers at Costco.

See now I got a sample of Costco Diapers for Carmen and she blew out the first one I put on her… So I am scared now to buy a whole box and end up with blowouts all the time… I usually use cloth, but Carmen would literally scream everytime I would close it up… She couldn’t flail her legs like she likes to… So we tried Huggies and I was changing 4 and 5 outfits a day… So I complained and got my money back, plus… Now we use Pampers. Terrible smell yes, but not nearly the blowouts… Hoping soon to switch back to the cloth…

Weird, Sarah. Were they the right size? I never had this issue with either of my girls.

I know how much you love cloth — sorry to hear Carmen doesn’t share the view. Hopefully she’ll be OK with them soon.

Colleen, I’ve heard that complaint about Huggies before. Funny that the Costco brand does not have that problem, as I swear they are identical.

Krystle, a Costco membership is just $50/year (less for a business, but open to anyone). We don’t shop there near as often, as we’re not in Ajax anymore, but there is one close to Eric’s work. We regularly buy their ketchup, wipes, body wash, floss and cereal. When I go, I buy more ;) You’ll shudder to know we get 192 Teddy’s Choice diapers for around $20!

Isn’t it funny how different diapers work for different people (well, babies)? We are die-hard Pampers users – I hated the smell (still kind of do) but they were the only ones we didn’t get leaks/blowouts with. And once a brand works, it’s hard to spend the $$ to experiment with the other brands.

For what it’s worth, I have heard that most store-brand dipes (incl. Costco) are modeled on Huggies design, while the Loblaw’s brand (Teddy’s?) is modeled on Pampers.

Wow, I just showed my geekdom with random useless diaper knowledge…

I have have to share my vote with Sara we tried every single diaper brand under the stars and only pampers work for us, I have to admit that the teddys choice was working for me only during day time but at night it did not do the job. and after I spend x$$$$$ on trying different brand including Cosco /Had a big box which I returnd after 3 big leaks./ I never tried the wipes which I will now thanks for the tipp

Back checking on the diaper debate. Hummmm? I am definately a pampers mama, but have used huggies if I have a coupon, but always go back to pampers… for my crew they don’t leak. Now for a $20 investment for a big box of diapers, well I will definately give those costco ones a try. Do they come in size 6??? My “baby”, my last, my darling boy is just transitioning into a 6. We won’t be in diapers in this house much longer.. and although I probably should be rejoicing after being with diapers for about 8 years now it makes me a tad sad. Does costco sell pull ups too?

Costco diapers are more expensive — it’s the Teddy’s that are cheap and $20! I’m not sure if they have their own brand (Kirkland) of pull ups. Eric does not think so…

As far as I know Costco does not have their own brand of pull-ups :(
But we use the no name ones from Loblaws and these worked great with both my son and daughter (for night-time though at the beginning I used the brand-name night-time pull up as they hold more and no leaks – the no name ones leaked at night sometimes!).
