When I was on my first mat leave, my hubby would come home from his eight hour shift and head for the computer, I'd ask for him to take the baby. He made comments like when he came home he had to start his "second" shift -- excuse me? I have a shift that NEVER ends... it's called being a MOM! It's ok, while they work we do nothing but sit on the couch eating bon-bons anyway ... *sigh* oooh doesn’t that drive you insane, 1001petals? My mat leave just ended, my shifts are so relaxing and full of 'me' time it's great to be back!
