At least they’re sharing
Lucy is very excited about Halloween. Not only because it’s HALLOWEEN and there will be CANDY and TRICK OR TREATING, but also because it’s Alice’s first birthday and there will be a PARTY with THE WHOLE FAM-A-LEE and PRESENTS and A PUMPKIN CAKE, MUMMA, LET’S MAKE IT WITH SPRINKLES AND I CAN LICK ALL THE ICING.
(All capped words ones we’ve head 7397528333 times a day in the past two weeks.)
Lucy will be a princess (quel surprise), and Alice is going to be a pumpkin (also quel surprise — as Jen O. said recently, every baby should be produce for their first Halloween. And considering Alice was born on said day, did we really have a choice but to make her a pumpkin?).
We are borrowing the O.-family puffy pumpkin costume. This morning I took it out of its bag to show Eric, and I’m not kidding my eldest daughter had it unvelcro-ed and wrapped around her in .9 seconds. We of course had to shove the hat on Alice’s head to make a sister pumpkin. Which happened at the O.-family house recently, too, in the exact same fashion.
(Don’t forget tomorrow is Photo Friday: COSTUMES in honour of Halloween this weekend! Click here to enter your photo to win a lovely designer cuddle blanket from Balaboosta Baby.)
