The Sick
Lucy has pink eye in both eyes.
She stayed home with me today.
Alice is a river of thick green snot.
I sent her to daycare (she’s happy).
Eric sounds like a walking Listerine commercial with all the salt water he is gargling due to a never-ending sore throat.
I am surrounded by sickies. We are germ central. And it’s only October!

I hear you – my house is full of sickness…and I too have it – my throat is KILLING ME!!!!! Hard to keep smiling and playing with the kids today…kinda looking forward to work tomorrow….:)
On another note and FYI – they will not vaccinate with the H1N1 flu shot (I know that your planning on going Thurs.) if your kidsa re not healthy. My friend went today to Pickering and was turned away due to snotty nose and a mild cough.

sounds like our house too (except for the pink eye). Hope they’re better by Hallowe’en, it would suck if they’re sick, that and it’s Alice’s birthday! OMG a year already… happy birthday little pumpkin!

HOpe everyone gets better soon. Uncle Randy and I have both been sick in September. Grandma is currently fighting a very nasty cold with a killer sore throat. This particular strain of whatever is certainly making its way around and it is not pleasant.
Be careful and take care. All this H1N1 stuff is quite scary. I have decided to get Cameron vaccinated and may go as early as tomorrow afternoon as the clinic opens in Oshawa then. My doctor said to then follow up with the regular flu shot 1 month later.
